The character Quinpool Road runs from the Armdale Rotary to the 'Willow Tree' junction at Robie Street, historically a boundary between Halifax's working-class North End and wealthier South End and the commercial spine of the West End ^[5], and is designated one of HRM's Centre Plan growth centres, directing intensified redevelopment within the Regional Centre ^[10].
